Introduction & Discovery Phone Call
We’ll begin with a phone call to explore the project, as well as the client’s needs and desires, while also introducing Jeanne Allen Design and the range of services we offer. This initial conversation often paves the way for an in-person meeting at the client’s home. During this meeting, we will delve deeper into the project and take the opportunity to get to know one another better. Together, we’ll identify the necessary services, and a tailored proposal will be developed based on the client’s specific requirements.

Information Gathering
During this phase, we will focus on pinpointing the client’s desired style aesthetic. The client will complete a questionnaire to assist the designer in collecting essential information, such as how the home will be utilized, preferences, dislikes, color schemes, and the client’s vision for their space. We will gather inspirational photos from the client and discuss their design style. At this stage, we will also address the budget to inform the design process, and measurements will be taken.

Design Phase
We initiate the design process by leveraging all the gathered information to create the ideal solution tailored to your family’s needs. If the project involves construction, this is the stage where we will communicate with the architect and contractor. The plans will be examined, and often modifications will be considered to enhance the home layout to suit your specific requirements. Once the architectural plans are finalized and we are satisfied with aspects like window size and placement, floor space, and layout, we proceed to develop furniture plans, select flooring, cabinets, moldings, built-in designs, furniture, rugs, fabrics, finishes, lighting, and wall coverings. This phase is the most time-consuming, requiring numerous meetings, calls, and emails with clients to refine a design that is both beautiful and practical.

- If construction is involved, we review plans, communicate with key professionals, and suggest modifications to optimize the home’s layout.
- With plans finalized, we develop furniture layouts and select flooring, cabinetry, built-ins, fabrics, lighting, and more through a detailed, collaborative process.
Showcasing Designs
A comprehensive presentation of the designs, featuring samples of fabrics, tiles, stones, paints, wallpapers, finishes, mood boards, and drawings, enables clients to visualize the concept and give their approval for the designs.
Execution of the design
Invoices are created and funds collected to place all purchasing orders. Orders are tracked and install date is determined. Installation of all furniture, rugs, art, mirrors takes place!!

- Seamless Procurement & Logistics – Invoices are issued, funds are collected, and orders are placed, tracked, and scheduled for delivery.

All furniture and accessories are aesthetically arranged and styled, ensuring every detail reflects intention cohesion. Once the space is perfected, professional photographs are taken to capture the transformation and now all that is left is to relish the beauty of your new home.
